100 National Ambassadors is an award that recognizes 100 local authorities and Italian companies that have distinguished themselves by leveraging sustainability, culture, creativity, and knowledge, and by fostering the social cohesion of the territories and communities of which their businesses are an expression. These companies and organizations enhance and promote their local area and can worthily represent to the world the example of a virtuous Italy, even a small one, authentically committed to promoting it. In particular, the Colle delle 100 Bottiglie was recognized for its courageous choices of recovery and enhancement through sustainable practices and interventions in the fields and in the production of wine and oil in two historic crus in the Lucca area that were experiencing a seemingly inevitable decline.
